Playboy recently announced it will stop publishing all nudity as part of its redesign that will be unveiled in March 2016. The publication's executives blame the Internet for making nudity and just about any type of sexually provocative content so widely available. A Playboy executive made the announcement and stated that nudity in publications is now "passé". We think it's a little more complicated than that because let's be real: nudity will never ever be passé.
Speaking of nudity, Miley Cyrus is getting some flack for planning an all-naked concert with her and the band The Flaming Lips all performing in the nude. But here's the catch -- the audience will be naked too. Many think Miley went off the deep end ever since her infamous performance at the 2013 VMAs twerking in a skimpy teddy bear costume, and that she has been drawing attention to herself in all the wrong ways ever since solely for the pursuit of fame. Others claim that, as a self-described "vegan nudist" she is groundbreaking and is helping to influence and open people's minds to new perspectives through her music and her own unique expression. Whatever the real reasons might be, she seems to be getting the attention she wants as she has had no shortage of exposure in the media.
